ADELANTE Window 2022: 14 Triangular Cooperation Initiatives underway

ADELANTE Window 2022: 14 Triangular Cooperation Initiatives underway

In the beginning of July, 14 Triangular Cooperation Initiatives co-financed by the ADELANTE Window 2022 were launched.

Following the process of evaluating the concept notes and the subsequent formulation phase, 14 Triangular Cooperation Initiatives have been approved within the framework of the ADELANTE Window 2022, having exhausted the initially planned budget allocation of 1,500,000 EUR.

Over the upcoming months, the implementation of the 14 Initiatives will take place. More than 70 entities will begin to carry out more than 75 activities (workshops, seminars, congresses, consultancies, study visits, internships, courses and studies), in which more than 2,000 direct beneficiaries will participate from 16 countries in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, with an impact on 11 SDGs. This is all made possible with the permanent support of the ADELANTE Team.

As a complementary activity, a session is planned for dialogue and joint collaboration among the more than 150 entities involved so far in the first two editions of the ADELANTE Window, during which the ADELANTE Alumni Space will be launched.

The mini-sites for each of the Initiatives will be launched shortly with all the relevant information. In turn, information will be provided on the activities, especially those open to the general public, and the main products and materials will be published.

For yet another year, we wish to highlight the rigour and quality of the formulation exercise, during which all the actors involved have worked thoroughly on their proposals, and in which we have all learned a little more about Triangular Cooperation. Worth mentioning is the innovative exercise of 'joint formulation' between the coordinating entities, the other Partnership member entities and the ADELANTE Team. Thanks to this, the foundations have been laid so that the approved Initiatives can be implemented with a high level of quality and achieve their objectives, thus strengthening Triangular Cooperation as a modality and contributing to the 2030 Agenda.
